Another Half Of Me - Prologue
“The
woods are lovely dark and deep.
But
I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep
And
miles to go before I sleep.”
(Robert
Frost)
Prologue
Shaking with fear
and anxiety, he woke up with a start. She was not there. Groping in the dark
for her, his hands only managed to grab the darkness in his soul. His screams
rang through walls of his room as always. Sliding down the edge of the bed, he
kept sobbing her name, rocking back and forth in its rhythm. He has lost her.
As silence has no
words, her face showed no reactions. Suddenly the pain was too numbing for her.
It has numbed her words forever. She stared in space, eyes searching for
somebody, but nobody came. Every night, she died in her sleep a thousand times,
but still her eyes kept searching somebody when they opened in the morning.
