The Stigma Called Love - Chapter 15
A shot of
electrical energy shot through Aparna’s spine as she heard Nishant. What is he
doing here?
Turning,
she smiled and nodded avoiding his eyes. Don’t look in them. They are more
dangerous more than the man himself.
Aparna started
taking long steps towards the door when Nishant pressed a button on his right.
Again the artificial roof clicked into place with its watery shadows and jungle ambiance. She looked around placing her hand on the door knob and turned it,
but the door did not open. She tried turning it with force but still nothing.
“The door
won’t open. That’s something my friend Dhruv does not know. It’s an electronic
lock,” Nishant said looking at her scared face.
Aparna
turned and ran towards the control panel and looked for the button to open the
door, but she couldn’t figure out which one was it. Without thinking, she was
about to press one of them when Nishant grabbed her hand and pulled her to him.
“What are
you afraid of?”
Aparna
tried hard to loosen his grip but couldn’t.
“Please let
me go,” she pleaded with panic thickening her voice.
“I would if
you stop struggling. You don’t have to be scared of me. If you don’t believe
anything else then just believe this that I would never do anything to hurt
you.”
Aparna’s
eyes widened with his words and she flicked her gaze at him.
As Nishant
looked into those gorgeous eyes and everything around him ceased to matter.
“Don’t look
at me like that, please,” he whispered letting her go.
However,
this time Aparna did not move at all. Hearing his plea, she felt her body
slowly being pulled into a vortex of sensations, which only this man had the
power to rouse. The heat from his chest emanated to her as he started to close
the distance between them.
Nishant
placed his hands on the wall on either side and lowered his head towards her
shoulder. Kissing the exposed skin, he slowly started moving lower towards her
throat.
Aparna’s
mind told her to move away but her body did not agree to it. As his lips grazed
her collar bone, she clutched his shoulder trying to steady herself.
Without
moving away from her, Nishant circled her hips and pulled her to him. He placed
small kisses on her cheeks and grazed his lips along her jawline. As he reached
her ears, he felt Aparna’s body tremble.
“Shhhh!
It’s me.”
Nishant’s
words filtered into Aparna’s soul and branded her forever. She did not have the
power to let him go. She felt his lips close and pull her earlobe. Myriad sensations zipped through her brain making her weak as his tongue traced the inner lines.
“Nishant!”
she whimpered just as his teeth bit softly on the soft flesh of her ears.
The moment
his name escaped her lips, Nishant’s body jerked up. Letting her go, he looked
at her. With her eyes closed and chest heaving with short breathes, Aparna
looked sensuous than ever.
“Open your
eyes,” Nishant commanded in a husky tone.
The moment
she did, his heart beat doubled.
“Do you
know what it does to me when you take my name?”
When Aparna
did not answer, he took her hand and placed it on his heart.
The
quickened drumming of his heart beat against her palm conveyed everything she
needed to know.
“You and
only you have the power to do this to me.”
She looked
up at him with those wondrous eyes, which even when silent spoke volumes. Right
now, they asked him to take her in his arms and make her feel like a woman
again.
“I want
you,” Nishant said, not hiding his desire.
As Aparna’s
mind registered his words, she closed the distance between them and rested her
forehead on his chest.
For a minute,
Nishant stood without touching her as he was still not able to believe that
Aparna was willingly responding to him. But the next minute, his arms tightened
around her. He kissed the top of her head and felt Aparna burying her face more
into his chest.
For once in
her life, Aparna felt protected and she wanted to stay like this forever.
Nishant
felt satisfied with Aparna in his arms like this. He tightened his hold on her
not willing let go ever.
She looked
up at him and he slowly lowered his lips to hers.
“Aparna!”
Dhruv’s voice echoed from behind the closed door.
Cursing
hard, Nishant started letting her go but felt Aparna clutching him hard. Smiling,
he looked at her flushed face.
“I am not
letting you go.”
Aparna loosened
her hold on him and Nishant raised his hand to press the button to open the
door. But, before he did that, he whispered in her ears.
“Go outside
and wait for me near Dhruv’s car.”
