The Stigma Called Love - Chapter 10

Nishant was busy on a call when Rushali walked in his office. He smiled and gestured her to sit down. As he continued talking, he saw her frown but the phone call was more important than Rushali’s presence.

Finally, when the call ended after 10 minutes, she sighed and got up from the sofa as Nishant came and stood in front of her.

“Aren’t you happy to see me?” she asked looking at his not-so-happy face.

“I am,” Nishant replied trying his best to look joyous.

Circling her arms around his neck, Rushali placed a kiss on his right cheek.

Closing his eyes, Nishant tried his best not to flinch from the touch. Why did he ever agree to get married to her?

“Kiss me,” he heard Rushali whisper in his ears.

When he did not, she looked at him with a frown.

“What is wrong with you?”

“Rushali, this is my office. Anybody can walk in any minute,” he said trying to loosen her grip on his neck, but she only tightened it more.

Sighing, Nishant let go of her hands and stared at her face. Even though, she looked good, but she always came across as cunning and shrewd. He knew that she was getting married to him just for the sake of the merger between the two families and eventually the companies. And, Nishant was getting married just to fulfill one of his father’s wishes for once in his life.

Rushali nuzzled closer into his throat and Nishant just backed away towards the side table. For him, this was becoming an intolerable deal now. He was about to forcibly loosen her grip when she placed a heated kiss on his lips. Taken aback for a split second, he did not respond.

Then suddenly, he pulled her head back and forcibly separated her from him.

Rushali moved away to the side and Nishant’s stance froze as he looked beyond her.

Aparna was standing clutching the side table near the door with a mixture of shock and confusion written all over her face. For an instance, he saw a flicker of anger and distress in her eyes. But the look vanished as it had come. However, her clenched fingers on the table betrayed the tormenting emotion boiling in her.

Giving Nishant an accusing look, she turned and took a step towards the door.

“Wait,” Rushali’s voice thundered through the cabin.

Aparna turned around and was about to open her mouth to say something, when Rushali’s raised hand stopped her.

“Don’t you have any manners? Don’t you know how to knock?” she asked looking at Aparna with disdain.

“I am sorry,” she replied, her voice clogging with the constricting feelings raging in her heart.

“Illiterate!”

“Enough!” Nishant’s empowering tone just echoed in the room as he looked at Rushali with hostility.

“The door was open. I did not realise, I am so sorry,” he heard Aparna say.

Hearing her apologise again, Nishant breathed hard trying to control the boiling rage inside him. He flicked his gaze on Aparna who was standing looking at the floor, laptop clutched tightly against her bossom. All he wanted to do right now was to take her in his arms and clear her doubts.

“Rushali, I’ll meet you later. We have a meeting right now. Please,” he said in a compressed tone.

Picking up her bag, Rushali first looked at Nishant and then at Aparna in a condensing manner, and left.

“Give me a minute,” Nishant told Aparna as he went inside the attached washroom.

Aparna kept the laptop on the table and sat down on the sofa.

He was kissing her?

Angry tears threatened to escape as the vision played in her mind again and again.

God, Aparna, stop it.

She is his fiancée and kissing her is no crime.

So, I was right. I am just a bit of fun on the side for Nishant Naik.

Shaking her head, she was about to leave when the washroom door clicked shut.

Nishant saw her straightened back and knew what she was thinking. Going to his desk, he pressed a knob to electronically shut the office door. Then he came and stood behind her.

“Look at me.”

Aparna’s body came alive with sensations as she heard his hushed command.

When she did not turn, Nishant placed his hands on her shoulders and turned her around.

Tipping her head, he looked into those gorgeous eyes. A look of despair mixed with anger stared back at him.

“I know what you are thinking. It was she who was kissing me. There was nothing from my side. Please believe me.”

He felt her body tremble as his thumbs brushed against her shoulder blades. When she did not say anything, he took her hand and placed it against his galloping heart.

“This is because of you.”

As she felt his heartbeats increase against her palm, Aparna’s eyes misted with the tormenting emotions she had been feeling since the time she had first shaken his hand. And, Nishant’s words just evoked a response in her that she had been trying to control for so long.

A lone tear slid down her cheeks and Nishant tried hard to control his urge to kiss her, but failed.

Palming her face, he lowered his lips to hers slowly giving her time to withdraw.

Aparna felt his heated breathe on her lips and realised that Nishant was giving her time to think. But for once she did not want to think. She did not want to analyse anything other than the feelings this amazing man was rousing in her. For a moment, she wanted to forget everything and drown herself in these sensations.

She tiptoed a little and their lips met.

Shockwaves of electric pulses zipped through Nishant’s body just as he felt the heat of her lips against his. Not able to control himself anymore, he rubbed his lips back and forth. With every movement, he felt Aparna move closer to him. Snaking out his tongue, he touched its tip to her upper lip and felt her clutch the front of his shirt.

Aparna whimpered deep in her throat feeling the thread of desire coiling inside her. Not controlling her urges anymore, she circled her arms around his neck.

Just as her arms went around his, Nishant groaned hard and deepened the kiss. Biting her lips softly, he urged her to open them and the moment she did, his tongue plunged inside.

Everything inside him melted as her sweet taste engulfed his senses. Aparna’s mind refused to function just as she heard Nishant moan with pleasure.

Not able to take it any longer, he backed her away against the wall. Pressing her to it, he deepened the kiss more and their tongues danced against the rhythm of their increasing passion.

Aparna became inpatient as the kiss continued. She wanted more. Sliding her fingers inside the lapels of his shirt, her fingers touched the naked flesh of his neck.

The moment her fingertips grazed against his neck, Nishant let go of her lips. Suddenly, his body had become really hard and the only thing he wanted to do right now was to take her then and there.

He looked at her and found her eyes echoing the desire zipping through his body. Picking her up, he settled her on the sofa and took off his coat.

Aparna saw him lower himself on her with a promise of pleasure in his eyes. Reason, logic or her resolve, everything just vanished in the matter of minutes as Nishant placed small kisses on her throat.

Opening the buttons of her shirt, he unclasped the hook of her bra and lowered his head to her breast.

“Nishant!” Aparna cried in a passionate tone as his lips closed on the nipple.

Her body twisted with pleasure as he dragged it inside his mouth softly grazing it with his tongue.

Aparna clutched his hair and pined his head against her breast raising her body more into him.

Groaning helplessly, Nishant caressed her sides with feverish passion as his manhood reacted to her grinding hips. He wanted to be inside her. Placing his hand between their bodies, he pulled up her skirt.

Leaving her breast, he raised his body above hers and kissed her as his fingers neared the line of her panty.

The shrill ring of his desk phone reverberated in the room shattering their moment of passion.

As the ringing stopped, Nishant moved away from her when he felt Aparna squirm beneath him. Cursing silently, he stood up from the sofa clenching his hands hard to control himself. Whoever was calling him will have the hellish day of their life.

Aparna buttoned her shirt fast and brushed her palm against her skirt to straighten it.

Picking up her laptop from the table, she ran out of the cabin just as Nishant opened the electronic lock of the door.
