The Last Laugh
Call it his fear of the
inevitable, but his chest starting heaving the moment he thought about going
inside the place. But still he crept slowly through the door dreading every
step ahead. Shadows lurked in every corner and felt like monsters. Gulping down
his heart he stepped inside the room. The creaking door sent shivers
down his spine. A muted noise alerted him and he bounded out. Looking back, he
saw a lone candle following him. Just as he was about to turn, he bumped into
something. Two sets of teeth were jeering at him near the doorway.
