The Silent Cacophony
The horse ran on the tree
As the blue angels flew
away
When Jill met Jack
On the hill top in
chilling may
The elephants roared
As the sea covered the
sun
“Eclipse, Eclipse”
shouted Silence
When the sky was on the run
The sputtering cup spread
its wing
As the storm raged on
The UFO sped through his
ears
As his nose and mouth
were gone
Skip, hop and jump said
all the drums
When the guitar played
the flute
Mumb mumb mumb
Down the lolling rums
followed suit
Thunders mewed, rain bellowed
As anger smiled happily
My grandma’s coat sat
down
To do my part in geometry
